INDIGENOUS ELEGANCE
Weaving Heritage into Elegance
We were never meant to blend in.
We were meant to be SEEN.
Born from resilience.
Rooted in whakapapa.
Designed for Mana Wāhine.
This is wearable identity.
This is culture in motion.
This is art that speaks before you do.
Created by a Māori Polynesian mother of eleven — 10 sons 1 Princess
Raised in Tūranga-nui-a-Kiwa, born of grit, imagination, and Hokohoko treasure racks
—
Indigenous Elegance is for wāhine who carry strength in their stance and story in their bones. You don’t just wear this. You embody it.
The different parts of me
Behind Every Creative Is a Story
I come from an era where dry Weetabix and Marmite sat in the cupboard — first in, first served.
Where you learned early that value wasn’t about abundance… it was about appreciation.
The hoko hoko — the second-hand shop — lit up my eyes.
Not because things were new, but because they held stories.
One person’s cast-off was another person’s treasure.
That upbringing shaped how I see creativity today.
I don’t just see products — I see potential, history, resilience, and meaning.
Every piece carries a past and invites a future.
This is about honouring what already exists, reimagining its worth, and celebrating stories that deserve to be seen, worn, and remembered.
Through my lived experiences, I always knew that one day I would use my journey to empower others.
What I walked through shaped my Life, my confidence, and my purpose —
and I realised that confidence isn’t given… it’s claimed.
That belief lives in every piece I create.
Each design is intentional —created to remind you of YOUR strength and YOUR story, and the power of being unapologetically you.
These pieces are not just worn — they are felt.
They invite you to step into your power, and own your unique journey proudly as yourself.
Through lived experience, I came to understand that my journey was never just mine.
It reflects the stories of many wāhine —resilient, powerful, and worthy of being seen.
These pieces are created so you can wear what you represent, your culture, and your strength with pride.
So here I am, proud to represent before you…
